Question #5: Miriam from Darien Ct.U.S.A.writes:
I'm deeply concerned about my teenage son's
behavior.He is a white middle-class boy who
has adopted every aspect of the so called
"Gangsta" affect and lifestyle.He frequently
refers to me as a"Bitch" and a "HO" and further
claims he is going to"Bust a Cap In MY ASS".
Please help me Ask Arthur!
Answer: Rest assured it's your confusion that is the
source of your concern.First of all your son
reffering to you as a "Bitch" and a "HO".Well
"Bitch" in the current vulgate means "playful
puppy" and "HO" is obviously a nod to Santa
Claus. [HO HO HO]. Your son is apparently a
"Mama's Boy" who equates you with a playful
puppy at christmas time.As for "Busting a Cap"
that is a form of salutation,as in opening a
bottle and wishing you "Good Cheer"[of course
in your son's case this bottle sounds more
like milk,or possibly fruit juice].What's
truly alarming is your inability to interperet
your son's poetic sense of expression
and obvious devotion to his mother.
